The House on a cloudless, but frosty day

The guests' sitting room, with a Georgian log burning fireplace..........

Kingthorpe Manor Farm was in it's prime in the 18th century when it was largely remodelled to reflect the Georgian style of the time. It was in this period, that it offered accommodation to revellers wishing to indulge in country pursuits amid The Lincolnshire Limewoods, www.limewoods.co.uk
Sadly, the house fell into decline over the following centuries, and became derelict. It has now been faithfully restored  and conserved by it's current owners, and incorporates many sustainable and renewable technologies.
It is now once again, offering travellers to this beautiful area 4 Star Quality Assured Bed and Breakfast accommodation. All of the produce used in the preparation of guest's meals, is either grown by ourselves, or sourced locally, and is of the highest quality. We have an award winning chef, with a passion for cooking.
Kingthorpe Manor Farm is a two and a half acre registered smallholding, surrounded by large woodlands, a short distance from the village of Wragby, on the B1202. We are on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, and are ideal for access to the historic City of Lincoln with it's Cathederal and Castle, and the East Coast resorts and wildlife sanctuarys. We offer secure off road parking, with free to use Electric Vehicle charging point, with undercover storage for cyclists and motorcyclists, and drying facilities for clothing. There are many walks in the area, with some from our doorstep. You can choose either rough terrain, or a lovely 5 mile round trip from our gate, through leafy country lanes, and passing through the villages of Apley and Stainfield before returning to Kingthorpe. There are many pretty towns to visit in the area apart from the cathederal City of Lincoln, including Woodhall Spa, Horncastle, Market Rasen and Louth. Kingthorpe Manor Farm is ideally situated as a base to explore the surrounding countryside, or just relax in and around our grounds. Child friendly KMF!
In 'Little Wood', where the Shepherd's Hut is, there is now a Zip Wire, as well as an outside play area for the little folk who stay here. It is all based around an ancient Crack Willow tree, and has a deep cushioned bark floor, with a tree swing, trapeze, rings and a recycled rubber tyre horse swing. You can of course also climb the tree, which is dead easy with the climbing aids. There is also a climbing wall, which is great fun, and can be hired for children's parties in the local area, as it is can be taken down and transported easily. Safety harness and tuition provided. For details please contact us at Kingthorpe Manor Farm.

Sadly, the 'Beast from the East', blew over our beautiful, ancient Crack Willow, and although she is not dead, she is needing some extensive remodelling, which has begun, but the Climbing Wall and Zip Wire are unaffected!

The Daily Telegraph has featured one of our local walks, just a short drive away and starting at the Kings Head, Tealby, a great place to eat, in the beautiful Wolds. Well worth trying, details here;
